Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, announces the temporary suspension of flights to eight regional and international destinations as a precautionary measure following ongoing developments across the region.
The airline confirmed that flights to and from Amman, Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain, Moscow, and Peshawar have been suspended. This measure will remain effective until March 2, 23:59 GMT.
Saudia stated that all affected guests are being contacted directly using the information provided in their bookings. Guests are also advised to check the latest flight status through the airline’s official website, mobile application, or contact center before traveling to the airport.
“The safety and well-being of our guests and crew remain Saudia’s highest priority,” the airline said in its statement. “We continue to closely monitor the situation and will provide further updates as necessary.”
This announcement follows recent advisories from Saudi aviation authorities concerning regional airspace operations.
