Qatar Airways has begun a phased expansion of its flight schedule between Doha and Dubai, increasing capacity on one of the Gulf region’s busiest air corridors in response to rising travel demand.
Effective June 5, 2026, the airline has increased services between Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha and Dubai International Airport (DXB) from two to three daily flights. The expansion will continue with the addition of a fourth daily service on June 15, while a fifth daily flight is set to return during the summer travel season.
The additional frequencies will be operated using Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft, offering passengers greater flexibility and more travel options between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Once the expansion is fully implemented, Qatar Airways will operate up to 35 weekly flights on the Doha-Dubai route, further strengthening links between the two countries and supporting both business and leisure travel.
The latest increase forms part of the airline’s broader efforts to enhance regional connectivity. Qatar Airways currently serves more than 20 destinations across the Middle East and has been progressively rebuilding its network in the region. Operations to Dubai (DXB) and Sharjah (SHJ) resumed in April, followed by the relaunch of services to Abu Dhabi (AUH) in May.
The carrier is also continuing the phased restoration and growth of its international network, which is expected to exceed 160 destinations by the summer of 2026.
Passengers are encouraged to monitor flight updates through the airline’s official website or mobile application and ensure their contact information remains accurate and up to date.
